Response to COVID-19

Our Promise

We hope that you and your family are continuing to stay safe and healthy during these difficult times. As the COVID-19 pandemic has developed, it has become clear that the way we are able to interact with our clients has changed for the foreseeable future. Despite that, our goal at Dedham Veterinary Associates remains to be able to continue to provide the best veterinary care to pets in our community, while keeping the safety of our clients and team members at the forefront.

As federal and local safety guidelines change and develop, we want you to know that our team is working hard to enact safety measures within our clinic to allow us to continue to provide care for your pets.

Masks are required inside the building at all times. Curbside appointments are still available for those who prefer to not wear a mask or remain socially distanced. Please call upon your arrival to check-in. Patients more than 10 minutes late for their appointment may be asked to reschedule. Thank you for your understanding.

What We’re Doing

Reopening Our Clinic

We are excited to begin welcoming our clients back into the clinic. At this time, two family members will be allowed to accompany their pets into our clinic for their appointment.

Curbside Concierge Service

We are continuing to offer curbside concierge service to our clients who prefer it. Call or text us when you arrive, and our team will come out to your car and escort your pet to and from their appointment, offering you a contactless visit. We will also be happy to deliver any medication and prescription food right to your vehicle.

Protective Equipment

All team members are provided with masks, gloves, and sanitizer stations.

Social Distancing

Our team members will strive to maintain 6 feet of distance from you for our mutual safety.

Healthy Team Members

We’re taking team health seriously, with measures including frequent hand washing, self-check procedures, and more.

Enhanced Cleaning & Sanitizing

Our hospital is cleaned and sanitized frequently, using EPA approved disinfectants, with special attention paid to heavy touch areas like doorknobs, phones, and computers.

Online Pharmacy

Need medication or prescription food? Check out our online store, where you can order and have the items you need delivered directly to your door.

What We’re Asking You to Do

Book Ahead

Whenever possible, we ask you to book your appointment ahead of time by phone or online.

Contactless Payments

We have procedures in place to limit contact during the payment process to keep you and our team members safe.

Remain in Your Car

To keep both you and our team members safe, please stay in your vehicle and call us to let us know you have arrived for your appointment.

Wear a Mask and Practice Social Distancing

For the safety of all of our clients and team members, we are continuing to ask clients to wear a mask and practice social distancing while inside our clinic.

Keep your Cell Phone Close & Charged

If you are utilizing our curbside concierge service, we will be communicating with you via your cell phone during your pet’s visit, so we ask you to make sure it is on and charged during the appointment.

Be Patient as We Serve You

Our team is working extremely hard to follow safety guidelines while providing the high level of veterinary care you and your pet deserve. Please be patient and kind as our pet health heroes care for your furry friends.
