Our Veterinarians
Naomi Auerbach, BSc, DVM
Medical Director
Dr. Auerbach grew up in Jerusalem, Israel and earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem before going on to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University’s Koret School of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, Dr. Auerbach completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery. She then went on to work as an emergency veterinarian in Israel, before moving back to the U.S., where she has worked as an emergency and general practice veterinarian in several clinics in Massachusetts and New York City. Dr. Auerbach’s special interests include soft tissue surgery, emergency & trauma medicine, and developing care plans for complex illnesses.

Outside of work, Dr. Auerbach enjoys yoga, running, long walks with her dog Lilah, skiing, and spending time with her family.
Amy Kuo, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Amy Kuo grew up in Massachusetts in Sutton, near Worcester. She received both her bachelor of science in biology and her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Tufts University. After graduation, she completed a 13-month internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital.
Dr. Kuo practiced for 5 years on the south shore at a busy emergency referral hospital before joining Dedham Veterinary Associates in February 2008.

Dr. Kuo lives in Newton with her husband and their three daughters. When not working, she enjoys running, training for triathlons and riding her horse, Fairy.
Elaine Gilleece, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Gilleece was born and raised in the Roslindale/West Roxbury area of Boston. She completed her undergraduate studies at Simmons College in Boston with a degree in Biology. After graduation, she worked as a Microbiology technician in research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. The research focused on antimicrobial resistance in bacteria and hospital-acquired infections. She was a coauthor on numerous research papers. She then went to Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine to obtain her doctor of veterinary medicine degree.
Dr. Gilleece comes to Dedham Veterinary Associates after practicing as an associate veterinarian at two other busy small animal practices in Natick and then in Dedham.

Dr. Gilleece lives in Dedham with her husband. Her pets include Princess, a Chihuahua mix adopted from the ARL in Dedham and Annie, a cat who was a former stray. When not working at the clinic she enjoys gardening, reading, working out at the gym, cross-country skiing and spending time at the Cape and in Maine. She also does volunteer work with the ARL Trap, Neuter, Release Program.
Megan Bolduc, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Bolduc comes to Dedham Veterinary Associates after 1 year of practicing in Maine at a busy small animal practice. She is interested in surgery and behavior and is Fear Free Certified.

Outside of work, Dr. Bolduc enjoys spending time with her cat, Fiona, and her fiancé, Tino. She enjoys exploring new bars and restaurants as well as skiing and snowboarding in the White Mountains.

Caitlin
Director of Customer Service / Practice Manager
Caitlin has been with our team since 2012, taking care of our clients at the front desk! As the Director of Customer Service, she is here to make sure you have a great experience at our hospital. Caitlin graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a business degree in finance and management. She enjoys gardening, cooking, snowboarding, hiking, and most sports. Caitlin lives in Attleboro with her husband Dan, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.
Tiffany
Assistant Practice Manager
Tiffany fell in love with animals at a young age and began her veterinary career in 2015, and joined the DVA team in 2017. Her favorite areas of interest are animal behavior and fear-free techniques, and her goal is to ensure comfort and quality care for all patients. She currently resides in North Attleboro with her husband Kevin, son Dante, her dog Stacey and two cats, Princess and Grizz. When not working, she enjoys being in nature and currently is working on visiting all of the National Parks in the US.
Elaina
Lead Veterinary Technician, CVT
Elaina is our lead veterinary technician for BVS and has been a member of the team since 2016! She has a degree in animal science from Mount Ida College and is a certified veterinary technician. She enjoys anesthesia, orthopedics, and working with shy or nervous pets! When she’s not working, Elaina enjoys spending time with her fur babies Lilly, Iris, Luna, Charlie, Maggie, May, and Rascal!
Karissa
Lead Veterinary Technician
Karissa is currently attending the New England Institute of technology for a degree in veterinary technology and is working towards becoming a Certified veterinary technician ( CVT ). She joined the DVA team in 2021 and enjoys learning Fear Free techniques, and hopes to provide comfort for your pets. She currently resides in North Attleboro with her boyfriend, two dogs, Luna and Toby, and two cats, Kitten and Pennie, and enjoys spending time outdoors.
Bonnie
Inventory Manager
Bonnie is our in-house inventory manager, but you may also see her in nurse attire caring for your pet. Since she joined Dedham Veterinary Associates in 1997, Bonnie has worked her way up from Veterinary Technician, to Technician Supervisor, to Hospital Manager’s Assistant, to her current position as Inventory Manager. Bonnie has continued her education throughout her career with various courses, lectures and seminars on veterinary medicine, human resources, and veterinary business management. She completed the Human Resources module on Veterinary Management at Purdue University and completed the AAHA Veterinary Management Institute program in Denver, Colorado.
Rachel
Customer Service Representative
Rachel began her veterinary career in 2020, bringing 13 years of experience in customer service and a strong background in management. She enjoys snuggling up with your pets during their appointments and helping them feel comfortable. When not working, she loves road trips, concerts, and building Legos with her son, Mason.
Lisa
Overnight Nurse
Lisa has many jobs at DVA, but her main role is Ward Nurse. She is responsible for all our hospital patient’s needs and enjoys educating clients on the post-operative care of their pets.Lisa joined us in August 2007 after working for more than 14 years as a veterinary assistant at another local animal hospital.
Marie
Surgical Technician
We welcomed Marie to our practice in 2003 and she became our night nurse in 2007. We are delighted to have someone with more than 17 years of veterinary experience in such an important position! She is now one of our surgical nurses during the day. As a teenager, Marie attended Norfolk Agricultural High School, where she studied to become a veterinary assistant. She then went on to study veterinary technology at both Becker College and Mount Ida College.
Andy
Surgical Technician, CVT
Andy is a certified veterinary technician and graduated from Mount Ida College. He brings eight years of experience to our team and loves the surgery side of the veterinary field. Outside of creating a safe and comfortable space for your pets, he enjoys being active and participating in spartan races.
Jillian
Veterinary Technician, CVT
Meet Jillian! She is a Certified Veterinary Technicians with more than 5 years of experience in the veterinary field and can’t wait to meet you and your pets! Jillian loves working with all types of animals and is especially interested in laser therapy and exotics. She lives in Bellingham with her fiance and loves spending time outside, crafting, and hanging out with her two dogs: Jack and Lucy, and her three cats: Buttons, Shea, and Mickey Moo!
