Our Veterinarians

Naomi Auerbach, BSc, DVM
Medical Director
Dr. Auerbach grew up in Jerusalem, Israel and earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem before going on to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University’s Koret School of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, Dr. Auerbach completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery. She then went on to work as an emergency veterinarian in Israel, before moving back to the U.S., where she has worked as an emergency and general practice veterinarian in several clinics in Massachusetts and New York City. Dr. Auerbach’s special interests include soft tissue surgery, emergency & trauma medicine, and developing care plans for complex illnesses.

Outside of work, Dr. Auerbach enjoys yoga, running, long walks with her dog Lilah, skiing, and spending time with her family.

Amy Kuo, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Amy Kuo grew up in Massachusetts in Sutton, near Worcester. She received both her bachelor of science in biology and her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Tufts University. After graduation, she completed a 13-month internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital.
Dr. Kuo practiced for 5 years on the south shore at a busy emergency referral hospital before joining Dedham Veterinary Associates in February 2008.

Dr. Kuo lives in Newton with her husband and their three daughters. When not working, she enjoys running, training for triathlons and riding her horse, Fairy.

Elaine Gilleece, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Gilleece was born and raised in the Roslindale/West Roxbury area of Boston. She completed her undergraduate studies at Simmons College in Boston with a degree in Biology. After graduation, she worked as a Microbiology technician in research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. The research focused on antimicrobial resistance in bacteria and hospital-acquired infections. She was a coauthor on numerous research papers. She then went to Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine to obtain her doctor of veterinary medicine degree.
Dr. Gilleece comes to Dedham Veterinary Associates after practicing as an associate veterinarian at two other busy small animal practices in Natick and then in Dedham.

Dr. Gilleece lives in Dedham with her husband. Her pets include Princess, a Chihuahua mix adopted from the ARL in Dedham and Annie, a cat who was a former stray. When not working at the clinic she enjoys gardening, reading, working out at the gym, cross-country skiing and spending time at the Cape and in Maine. She also does volunteer work with the ARL Trap, Neuter, Release Program.

Megan Bolduc, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Bolduc comes to Dedham Veterinary Associates after 1 year of practicing in Maine at a busy small animal practice. She is interested in surgery and behavior and is Fear Free Certified.

Outside of work, Dr. Bolduc enjoys spending time with her cat, Fiona, and her fiancé, Tino. She enjoys exploring new bars and restaurants as well as skiing and snowboarding in the White Mountains.

Taylor Jones, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Taylor Jones earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Smith College in 2017 before obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from University College Dublin in 2021.
Dr. Jones comes to Dedham Veterinary Associates after four years of practicing in Boston at a busy small animal clinic. She is Fear Free Certified and has special interests in urgent care, dermatology, preventative medicine, and creating a low-stress experience for her patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Jones enjoys long-distance running, boot camp workouts, and spending time with her Border Collie, Olive. You can often find her training for her next race, tackling a tough boot camp session, or catching the next big wave while surfing on tropical islands.

Margaret Heath, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Margaret Heath earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from Auburn University in 2019 before obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2023.
Dr. Heath comes to Dedham Veterinary Associates (and Massachusetts) after two years of practicing in Alabama at a busy mixed animal clinic. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, dermatology, and preventative medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Heath enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her orange cat, Butterscotch. You can often find her scouring the shelves of a little free library and looking for a cozy blanket. If you have any restaurant recommendations, let her know!
