Pain Management

At Dedham Veterinary Associates, we believe in focusing on the entire patient and every aspect that could be affecting your pet. Pain can have many different effects on a patient, from physical limitations to behavioral and emotional issues. There are many factors to consider when fully evaluating a patient’s pain level and how to appropriately treat them. Whether it be a dental issue that is causing them to be depressed and reluctant to play, eat or socialize, or chronic arthritic issues. Generally pets do not outwardly express pain in the same way humans do, so this can make realization or detection hard for owners. Our team is fully trained to visually and physically assess your pet’s pain level and is dedicated to coming up with the best plan to alleviate these issues.
